An Interview with Duncan McKinnell, the 'Voice of Scottish Swimming'

On 25th April 2020, Tom Slater (Communications Editor and parent of an ELST Swimmer) interviewed Duncan McKinnell, Vice-President of SASA East District and widely regarded as the 'Voice of Scottish Swimming'.   Duncan lives in East Lothian and is a big presence in our swimming lives with his outstanding commentating, whether it be at our local meets or at larger championships well beyond the county.  Given the current suspension of swimming because of the Covid-19 crisis, we are all missing Duncan's voice and knowledge, so in this conversation you can hear him again and learn from him!  He talks about some of the things he has learned from many years involved in the sport, how he prepares for his commentating gigs, and he shares some great memories.  We hope you enjoy watching it.
