As a not-for-profit organisation operating through a voluntary management committee and given our programme is constrained by high costs for pool hire, we are actively seeking sponsors.

 

Swimming is one of Scotland’s most popular participation sports and continues to raise its profile nationwide, e.g. Scottish Swimming's Learn to Swim Ambassador, Duncan Scott, won 4 medals at the Tokyo 2020 games. Through investing in our swim team your organisation would be supporting us to build on our recent successes, as well as investing in future elite swimmers.

 

Our team has:

• Current membership of ~70 swimmers, 4 coaches and many volunteers 

• Swimmers competing in up to 30 competitions per year, some of which are at a national (Scottish & UK) level which are normally streamed live over the Internet providing additional publicity and awareness

• Access to an average of 350 spectators at each competition

• Finished in 3rd position overall at the last two Scottish National Age Group Championships (2022  & 2023), with ~50 podium finishes each year

• Broken many East District and National records 

• Links to local swim schools and our home teams (~400 swimmers) reaching additional swimmers and parents in the local community

• Swimmers on Scottish National Junior Team, representing Scotland at International Competitions including the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Also competed for Team GB at 2022 European Youth Olympic Festival and 2022 World Para Swimming Championships,
